He was instrumental in setting up one of the top pharmaceutical companies in India, Akumentis Healthcare, which was the fastest growing pharmaceutical company in India. Within 3 years of launch; Akumentis entered top 50 rank in Indian pharmaceutical industry and top 20 rank in special therapeutic areas of focus.
Prior to this assignment, he was working as Executive Director with Wanbury Limited and was instrumental in turning around loss making business into highly profitable one with leadership position in key therapeutic areas.

Medical College and Sassoon Hospitals, University of Pune, Dr. Dhembare is a serial entrepreneur and has diversified in healthcare business in different verticals (clinical research, Pharmacovigilance, stem cell research, pharmaceuticals, healthcare IT and medical diagnostics).
Extensive experience of more than 20 years in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, clinical research, general management and strategic planning in healthcare industry.
His entrepreneurial journey started in 2007 when he set up Synapse Labs, a Contract Research Organization (CRO) that has been successfully inspected by global drug regulatory agencies which includes MHRA, UK, BfArM, Germany, USFDA, and ANSM, France. Synapse has world-class facilities for providing clinical research services to global pharmaceutical clients.
He went ahead to set up Fidelity Diagnostics Private Limited in 2011 which is India’s 1st NABH accredited chain of medical imaging centres offering radiology and pathology services.
Established a stem cell research institute, Novo cellular medicine institute in Caribbean region where he leads a team of scientists and clinicians developing novel stem cell therapies and products in the treatment of chronic degenerative and inflammatory diseases like MS, ALS, Parkinson’s disease and Diabetes. Institute also has developed immunotherapy products and conducting clinical trials of dendritic cell vaccines in treatment of prostate cancer.
Mentoring healthcare IT start up LIVEHEALTH which got the “Best Healthcare Start-Up Award, 2016” in Apollo-THIT and e-Health national healthcare conferences and series A funding from Nexus venture partners in 2018.
Set up Fidelity Health Services in June 2016, as a Pharmacovigilance/drug safety CRO with state of the art facility for providing Pharmacovigilance Services based on FTE Model for one of the global pharmaceutical giants. The company has grown to a full scale pharmacovigilance CRO with a team of 100 people and has got inspected by major regulatory agencies (USFDA, Health Canada, BfArm, Germany with no critical findings.
